The Best of 2012: Big Fun At The 65th Maine Lobster Festival

The day starts with a grand parade down the main street of Rockland Maine

The Grand Marshal was Signa Gardner.  Signa was the second Sea Goddess, crowned in 1949!

Blackbeard, King Neptune's bodyguard, clears the was for the new Sea Goddess.

In the marine tent there are all sorts of interesting creatures to see and to hold, if you dare.

Lots of people and lots of fun.



Great music all day and into the night.



Beware of the lobster spiders.

People travel from all parts of the country to enjoy the Maine Lobster Festival, 

and from all corners of the globe.

This whole festival is all put on by volunteers.


So get in the car and come on down to the 65th Maine Lobster Festival!
