Beverly Hills, California - Eighteen year old Olympic Bronze Medalist Gracie Gold looked adorable as she steps out to attend the GBK & airweave Pre-Oscar Luxury Lounge on March 1, 2014 in Beverly Hills, California.Gracie Gold accepted a prom invite from high school student Dyer Pettijohn on the Extra set Wednesday.
The 18-year-old Olympic figure skater came home from the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics to the invite, which Dyer posted on YouTube.
After the video went viral, Dyer made a surprise appearance on the Extra set to meet Gracie and even gave her flowers.
“You melted my heart,” Dyer told Gracie upon meeting her. “Can I get a hug?”
And after Dyer asked Gracie in person to go to the prom, she replied: “If it works out I would love to.”

Grace Elizabeth Gold born August 17, 1995, known as Gracie Gold, is an American figure skater. She is the 2012 World Junior silver medalist, the 2014 U.S. national champion, 2014 Olympic bronze medalist in the team event, and the 4th place finisher in Figure Skating Ladies at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
