Update 10:05am: Fire department tweets, Woodley Pl. NW 2nd Alarm under control. Fire confined to 7th floor Apt. venting smoke from 7th thru 10th floors. Still no injuries reported. Partial evacuation and others sheltered in place.
Update 9:43am: According to fire department, Fire 7th floor Apt knocked down. No initial reports of injuries. Continuing search of fire floor and floors above for occupants needing assistance.
Update 9:31am: Firefighters are checking extension and clearing floors. They report heavy smoke on the seventh floor.
