  • Following bogeys on two of his first six holes, Patrick Cantlay made a career-best five consecutive birdies on Nos. 12-16 en route to a back-nine 30, tying his career-low score on the back nine (three times)
  • Making his fourth start in the BMW Championship, Abraham Ancer made seven birdies against one bogey en route to a 6-under 66 (T5); highlighted by his first career PGA TOUR win at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, five of his seven top-10 finishes this season have come in his last nine TOUR starts
