Polina Edmunds Earns 61.04 For Her Outstanding Ladies Short Program

Sochi, Russia - Fifteen year old United States Figure Skater Polina Edmunds looked beautiful and outstanding as she took to the ice for her Ladies short program during the Winter Olympics Ladies Short Program at Iceberg Skating Palace on February 19, 2014 in Sochi, Russia.

Edmunds earned a 61.04 for her outstanding debut Ladies short program at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. This score is a new season-best for Polina.

One commentator called her performance "outstanding" as she jumped and did dance twizzles to a medley including "Pink Cherries Cha Cha" and "Besame Mucho."

Another commentator remarked that Polina, a 15-year-old sophomore at Archbishop Mitty High School just looked "so confident."

After her skate, Polina told Nick McCarvel of NBC Olympics: "I've done this program a million times, so I just tried to remind myself of that."

We have a feeling you will see a lot more of Polina in the future.
