White House Schedule - August 1, 2013

In the morning, the Vice President will attend the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. 
In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet for lunch in the Private Dining Room. 
Following lunch, the President will meet with a group of bipartisan Members of Congress to discuss key programs under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. 
Later in the afternoon, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi of Yemen.  The President looks forward to discussing with President Hadi U.S. efforts to enhance democratic governance and support economic development in Yemen, further strengthen our counter-terrorism partnership, and enable the return of Yemeni detainees at Guantanamo Bay who have been designated for transfer. 
In the evening, the President will host a reception for the 50th Anniversary of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law in the East Room.
